I had a good time during the summer vacation.
I went to five summer festivals. The one was held in Nagara River on August 2. It is famous for fireworks. There were a lot of people and booths ranged on both side of the road. Fireworks were displayed for two hours. They were very beautiful. Above all, fireworks in Hukuroi, Sizuoka was very big and beautiful. In this festival, many firework venerable competes every year. About 30.000 fireworks were displayed. They were the best fireworks in my life.
I went to Tidorigahama beach in Mihama with my friends on August 5. We went by friend’s car. We played with the sand and swam in the sea with float rings. I didn’t want to tan, so I applied sunscreen. But I tanned. I was very shocked. We played until the sun went down. On our way home, we had dinner. It was good day.
I went to Nagoya port aquarium on August 16. I had not been there for a long time. Because we went there on Saturday, it was very crowded. There was a long line of people waiting to get tickets in front of the ticket counter. It was very hot day, so I get a little tired. There were a lot of fishes and mammals. We saw a show of dolphin. Dolphins were very cute and very smart. I was surprised for their performance. We bought a candle of dolphin in the gift shop. I had a good time.
During vacation, I met some longtime friends. Most friends have job, so it is difficult to match our schedule. Because I had not seen some of the friends for a long time, chatting warmed up. Longtime friends were very comfortable for me. We promised that we would meet soon.
I went to Sizuoka three times during this vacation. I like Sizuoka very much because Shizuoka is very good place. I went to Iwata city in Sizuoka. Iwata city is famous for a soccer team, Jubilo Iwata. There is a big stadium and a lot of people visit the stadium to watch the game. I wanted to watch a game, but I couldn’t. I want to go to watch a game next time. There are a lot of nature and many rice fields in Iwata city. Iwata city faces the sea, so I could go soon. Iwata city is also famous for melon and white sandbar. I heard that they are very nice. I was taken to see night view by a car. It took about an hour to get. We went up a narrow mountain path for a few minutes. There were not street light on the path, so it was in complete darkness. On the
observatory, we saw the beautiful night view. It was very good. I forgot passing the time. I want to go there again. I went to “Sawayaka”. It is a famous restaurant in Sizuoka and there are only in Sizuoka. Its hamburger was very popular. I ate “Onigiri humburger”. It tasted good. I want to go there again. I didn’t have a much time for me to stay Sizuoka, but I had good time.
My summer vacation was very good. I could make good use of my vacation.
