Thanksgiving Day in America

The beginning

The Thanksgiving Day dates back to the 17th century.

On December 26, 1620, Pilgrim Fathers, a Britain puritanical group, arrived at Plymouth, Massachusetts in America. There were about 100 people in the group. The weather was so bitter and a lot of misfortunes happened to them. Therefore most of them died because of cold, hunger and disease. Survivors were only 50. They were taught hunt and agriculture by native American (Indian) and worked hard during the spring and summer. As a result, they succeeded. In harvest of fall, they gathered at a church and had dinner, being pleased the harvest, appreciating for god. Indian was invited to the dinner. They brought turkey and venison for rewards. And the puritancal group and Indian piled food like a mountain and kept singing hymn for three days.

This is the beginning of Thanksgiving Day.

Cinderella, a famous Disney movie, was released on February 15,1950. In Japan, it was released on March 7, 1952. The riginal is a children's story, "Cinderella" written by Charles Perrault.

The story is that Cnderella, a kind and beautiful woman, dreaming a happy future, is coming true her dream, overcoming trouble. Cinderella was forced to work as a servant by stepmother after her father died. But Cinderella never lose her hope and believed thet dreams come true. One day, a invitation for a dance party in castle arrived. It was to find a bride of a prince. Cinderella wanted to go there, but stepmother made her stay at home. Cinderella was very sad. Then, a majicioan appeared and change Cinderella into a beautiful princess. But the majic is until 12 o'clock and if pass 12 o'clock, the majic disappear. Cinderella goes to the dance party. Can Cinderella be happy with prince?

Every girls want to be happy ever after with love like Cinderella. You should watch this movie if you haven't watch.

Independence Day

I'll introduce sbout a SF movie, "Independence Day".

This movie was produced in America, 1996. The director is Roland Emmerich and main charactor is Will Smith.

The story is about battle between alien trying to invate earth and human for three days. This film was produced with traditional ways and modern digital technique. I think that this movie' highlight is the scene that Captain Steven Hiller(Will Smith) and David Levinson(Jeff Goldblum) fight with alien in space. This scene is very exiting and Interesting. This movie is not just exiting and interesting, but also touching. We can feel an importance of family and mutual help. After you saw this movie, you would get something big. You should watch!
